Samantha Davila grew up in Ciudad Juárez — a border town where English and Spanish have always blended together. She spent her life crossing between two cultures, two languages, and two ways of seeing the world. That experience is exactly what makes her such a natural teacher.
She studied at the Autonomous University of Ciudad Juárez and began her career as an elementary and preschool teacher, where she learned that the best way to teach is to make learning engaging and fun.
In 2020, she started teaching Spanish online — first to a friend’s kids in Portland, then to adults — and quickly realized she loved helping people learn to speak with confidence.
Since then, she’s logged more than 10,000 hours teaching Spanish to adult learners, building lessons that balance real grammar with real conversation.
She’s currently learning French herself, which helps her stay grounded in what it actually feels like to be the student.
